School Policies

Acceptable Use Policy (for computers and the Internet) (.pdf format)

Cellular Phone Policy – Students who bring cell phones to school must keep them turned off throughout the day. We will no longer be registering cell phones. We encourage students to keep their cell phones at home. If you bring a cell phone, it is your responsibility to keep it secure. DO NOT USE IT DURING SCHOOL HOURS OR IT WILL BE CONFISCATED. You bring cell phones to school at your own risk.

Dress Code (en Espaņol) (.pdf format) – Students are not to wear any athletic jerseys (football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, etc.). Basketball shorts are not appropriate uniform. Keep those items at home. The dress code for Muir is a white-collared shirt and black bottoms. Muir white collared shirts are now on sale in the Student Store for $9.00. Students and parents must sign a Uniform Letter agreeing to abide by the dress code.

Electronic Devices – Do not bring electronic games, CD players, iPods or other expensive items to school. They do not belong in school for any reason. If any of these items are confiscated you must bring a parent in order to have them returned.
