C5 Youth Foundation (formerly Camp Coca-Cola) – C5 Los Angeles youth spend four weeks during each of their first two summers at Camp Paintrock in Hyattville, Wyoming.

Deputy Sheriff Explorers – Train to perform non-hazardous deputy sheriff duties such as search missions, crowd assistance, crime prevention, fingerprinting, and patrol ride-alongs. Must be at least 14 years old and have a "C" average. 18 weeks of training on Saturdays.

People Who Care Youth Center1500 W Slauson Ave. (323-778-8905) – Provides counseling, tutoring, parenting education, graffiti abatement, in-home services to prevent child abuse and neglect of young children, and an afterschool program that includes tutoring, recreation, and computer lab in a safe and nurturing environment.

University Little League – Play Little League baseball. Registration from mid-December to the end of February. $50.
